If you want to visit Egypt, I highly recommend going through Passainte Assem, and her company @ WhyNotEgypt.com. What a trip to Cairo! The team have been fabulous at organising our visits. When our flights got delayed and we could not make our original plans, they were able to reorganize at short notice. Khaled , our guide, was very knowledgeable and full of good info. He had the patience of an angle with our 13 and 11 years old. All in all, I would highly recommend the team.

Our trip to Egypt has been coined, “The trip of a lifetime” all thanks to Passainte. She is the most talented and genuinely caring travel agent (turned friend) that I have ever had the pleasure of working with. Not knowing much about Egypt aside from the Sphinx and Giza pyramids, she shared with us so many other sites we would have completely missed. We were only in Egypt for 10 days, but she helped us make the best out each day. From day 1 in Egypt, we did not have to worry or stress about anything as everything was perfectly planned down to every detail. I had personal contact with each tour guide before meeting up with them, which made us very feel comfortable while being in a foreign country. Each tour guide and excursion were simply fantastic and surpassed our highest expectations. On the last last night of our vacation, Passainte took the evening off to personally show us around Cairo and her favorite local spots, which really meant a lot to us. We had an absolute blast with her and it was the perfect ending to our amazing vacation. If you’re thinking about going to Egypt, go! We visited Egypt this September and Why Not Egypt? helped us with organizing part of our trip. Although we gave her a very tight window to arrange our trip, the result really exceeded our expectations. The weekend trip that we participated in the desert area around Fayoum was such an amazing and authentic experience that it was the highlight of our trip. All the communications were fast, everything was as discussed and even last minute changes that we required were made without any hussle. We used Passainte with Why Not Egypt? To organize a week we spent in Egypt in May 2022 where we were attending a wedding, but hoped to see other parts of Cairo and visit Luxor & Aswan. Our trip had some constraints with the wedding, but Passainte went above & beyond to design an itinerary that was perfect for what we wanted. We also wanted to eat at local restaurants & she made that happen – everything was delicious. The guides & drivers we had in each city were phenomenal, excellent English speakers and truly shared their culture and personalities with us. They felt like friends! I contacted Passant literally two days before my trip and that was in the peak season as well and she was very helpful and cooperative. Trying to accommodate all our needs and budget. She also kept following up throughout the trip about how things are going. She was making sure that everything is more than perfect and we’re enjoying our trip. Egypt has been high on my travel list for sometime but the time was never right. On a whim in the spring of 2022 I decided to take my two teenage children to visit. Because I had limited time to do my own planning and knew Passainte knows more about Egypt than I could ever manage myself I asked for her planning help. She worked with me to make sure we had a balance of activities. Most of all she went out of her way to make sure my goal – of eating as much amazing food as possible – happen.
